Rick Adleman should get more credit for this win. Actually, he and the staff have been making good adjustment in many games like this one.

from the last minute, i think Cook will start to play more minutes. I think the coach have try to make some tactics for him.
Anyone else notice that they didn't front Yao? They did on only two possessions in the first half and it worked; Yao couldn't get the ball and we couldn't score. But they completely abandoned that strategy and only doubled when he started making his first move. We might be able to adapt to fronting over a period of time, but the first few times opponents do it are always possession-killers for us.
I never played organized basketball, even in high school, much less college or pro, but c'mon. It doesn't take a ROCKET scientist to figure out that if they front Yao, swing it around to the 2 guard and drive, baby, drive.
this team is going going to be the next portland after this draft....i think they may even be better than Portland eventually, they have a more balanced team. i think they should consider trading griffin though, or Keep griffin but trade Nocioni, either way they could use some solid backups at the 4/5 spots. Udrih/Mccants Martin/Garcia Nocioni/ griffin? Thompson/Griffin? Hawes
if artest plays like that runnin over people and bulldosin his way to the basket the rockets are going to make it to the western conference finals. adelman needs to make the proper adjustments and use his thinking cap and switch yao onto jason thompson and quit letting yao get lit up by spencer hawes.
