19 pts, 17 rebs, 4 ast, 3stls, 8-17fg in 37 mins of play plus some really clutch play at the end of the game. I call this a very well deserved bump.
Scola is an All NBA team guy. If he didn't play for such a talented team the dude would be All Star bound year in and year out.
19 points, 17 rebs, 3 steals, 4 assists, 1 TO. That's great. And he got +14 in the +/- stats on a two-point game. Unreal. Parker, Duncan & Artest had a very good game but Luis was the MVP of this game for sure.
If I remember correctly, this was the third time Scola missed the first cluch ft, and made the second one when the time was only 0.3 sec left!
Definitely an underpaid PF don't think he is underrated anymore. Guy gives you your moneys worth, never injured, knock on wood and probably the 3rd best player on the team. I rank him ahead of Tmac at this point.
Simply amazing. I can't believe someone in another thread, before the game, was saying that Scola and Gooden were a wash. Rediculous! VIVA SCOLA!!!
Spurs fans have their own Scola appreciation thread, sorta http://www.spurstalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=120402
Scola always plays well against the Spurs. I recall from last season one of the last games against San Antonio he had 22 points or something. Him and Landry are keeps.
I found the quote. Can you believe this? Gooden - 4 points, 3 rebs, 2 TO. Scola - 19 points, 17 rebs, 3 steals, 4 assists, 1 TO. You were saying??
