So why were we always competitive in the regular season with one on the highest win averages in the last 4 years? Well it shows how valuable Tmac was.

Yes he couldnt get us out of the first round. But he tried hard with it. With out Tmac in those 4 years, I fail to see what kind of team we would be. Yao is great but playing with Tmac in those years allowed him to evolve more as a player.

I can't believe this thread went a page with no one mentioning Rick Adelman's role in a win like this. ?

On this board, Adelman is SOOOOOOOOOOO underrated.

Sure... but can we beat a cellar dweller with both TMac and Yao playing? That's the real question.

Morey is a good GM and what he did made ROX strong
now maybe we can build this team around the roster

Ok, tell me what he did to win us the game. I can tell what he did to almost lose us this game though:

*letting Artest play freely and jack up shots
*taking out Wafer when he was hot
*inserting the starters when the bench got us the lead

Actually Rox have got more talent in the team, current performance is the feedback of this. If they could have a better coaching, it already same level with Lakers.

It's not that Morey didn't have chance to get rid of it.
