The DNS change for bbs.clutchfans.net is taking place -- it may already be working for you. The new URL is only temporary -- it will be credited for being the real deal, but it's not and will basically be dumped after it bridges us right back to where we were before, so I thought of Skip.

While the server is a much more powerful machine, the settings for Apache and MySQL aren't tuned properly in accord with the new hardware/software (atleast it looks like that is the problem). Last night right after the Rockets collapse, MySql crashed and off and on had problems over the next hour or two.

This isn't really my area of expertise, but I'll tweak these settings as we get more tests and hopefully that resolves the problem. Anyhow, just a heads up that we may see these issues occasionally until these settings are all optimized as they should be. Thanks...

Hi Clutch, maybe it's just some settings on the server that are still not correct, but right now the ads is not displaying on my browser (Firefox). In the places where the ads should be, I got the following message.

    Not Found

The requested URL /ad_300_dk.php was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
    Apache/2.0.63 (Unix) mod_ssl/2.0.63 OpenSSL/0.9.8e-fips-rhel5

    Maybe you already know this.

load only the modules Apache needs, turn off some directives on the CONF file, I'll look up some you can turn off on the default config, etc., for Apache and MySQL...

Wow...this still works (posting from it now), and it feels faster but it's probably just in my head.

LOL....seems like it. Not sure if my head is playing tricks on me now that I'm looking for a speed difference.

    Probably the same...
