Did I take this class before?

Crap. I'm sitting here studying for an exam tomorrow thinking, "Man, I could swear I took this class before."

I think I might have taken this class years ago at University of North Texas. BBS, you judge:

UNT COMM 1010 description:
Course Goals and Objectives

The goal of this course is to provide students with a basic study of the elements contributing to effective human communication across a broad spectrum of contexts including interpersonal, group, organizational, public, and mass communication.

Thus, the following specific objectives:
-Gain an understanding of the influence of communication in our personal, professional, and public lives.
-Actively engage in development of problem solving skills in interpersonal and group relationships.
-Demonstrate knowledge and skills in the following areas related to public communication:

UH COMM 1302 description:
Course Objectives: By developing an understanding of a variety of key concepts and theories of human communication, students will achieve an understanding that permits a more flexible, useful, and discriminating interpretation of human communication events.

Well, I took the UNT course almost 3 years ago. There's a Texas common course numbering system that's supposed to catch most of this, but it's not perfect.

When I initially signed up for the class, the descriptions looked different, and I knew I needed the class to graduate. But once I actually started doing the work for it (today), oops.

 

Oh, I've got plenty of time. April 7. And I'm going to talk with an advisor about it tomorrow, so that'll help a lot.

I'm still studying for this exam and writing a paper in the meantime; I'd hate for them to say it won't fly.
