East - I don't give a crap

The Real Playoffs:

1st round:

Kings over Jazz

Spurs over Sonics

Lakers over Blazers

Mavs over Minnesota (please let this happen, see below)

2nd round:

Kings over Mavs

Lakers over Spurs

NBA Championship

Lakers over Kings (dammit)

I can't believe how many people are picking no first round upsets in the West and I probably shouldn't do the same just to not jinx it. I mean the prospect of all 4 top west teams advancing has me freakin giddy. Lakers v Spurs, Kings v Mavs, man. And please, please, please let Kings/Mavs happen. I want to see 7 games of scoring, scoring, scoring. Please let this happen. And if anyone could beat the Lakers I would appreciate it.

I hope...

But, Sea might have the weakest frontline in the West...

While SA, at the very least, has the 2nd best...

Sea would have to push the tempo, something that is very hard to do in the playoffs.

Yes it does! Every time I saw the name crispee, for some bizarre reason "crispy critters" popped into my head. *Shiver*

As much as I'd love to see the Hornets win a championship as they exit the city that gave up on them, I just feel the King's season has only been a mere precursor to the show they'll put on in the playoffs. Of course I also think they have the greatest chance of being upset, next to La.

East:

Nets-- 3
Pacers-- 1

Pistons-- 3 (worst #2 seed in history)
Raptors-- 2

Celtics-- 1
Sixers-- 3

Hornets-- 3
Magic-- 1

West:

Kings-- 3
Jazz-- 0

Spurs-- 3
Sonics-- 2 (the Glove versus Jesus is enough to keep it scary
for the Spurs)

Lakers-- 3
Blazers-- 0

Mavs-- 3
Wolves-- 2

Second round:

Pistons-- 2
Sixers-- 4

Nets-- 4
Hornets-- 3 (toughest team for the Nets in the East)

Kings-- 4 (better D)
Mavs-- 2

Spurs-- 1 (end of illusions here)
Lakers-- 4

Conference Finals:

Nets-- 4 (simply the best in the East all year)
Sixers-- 2

Kings-- 4 (Kings team just manages to outscore Shaqand Kobe)
Lakers-- 3

NBA Finals:

Kings-- 4
Nets-- 2 (valient effort, they just can't shoot with the Kings over 7 games)

Here's who did the best after Round 1:

Predictor / # of Correct Predictions:

#1: DBC: 8 (3 perfect)

TPL: 8 (1 Perfect)

DCKid: 7 (2 Perfect)

Desert Scar: 7 (2 Perfect)

DHR: 7 (1 perfect) (thats me :))

mfclark: 7(1 perfect)

rocks millenium 7 (1p)

CriscoKidd: 7 (1p) (And you missed the Lakers/Blazers too...could've had 8 easily ;))

Chuck04: 7

moandfroshow: 6 (3 perfect) (not bad w/ 3 perfects)

--

Now, if you didn't get 7 right, you should really work on your predicting skills...all you had to do this year was pick the top seeds. :)
