I'm just curious ...how much space does a website like this one need ?

I don't need this much, however I could use it sort of like a reference point if I knew.

    10 gigabytes and 150 gb/month bandwidth.

    Enough for Clutch to need a <a href="http://www.clutchcity.net/tipjar.cfm">tip jar.</a>

This is likely not a good reference point.

Understand, that is for the BBS. The ClutchCity.net site only needs about 500MB but the BBS requires more for all the archived messages.

    <table><tr><td bgcolor="EEE5DE"><font face-"Verdana, Arial" size="2">
    </font></td></tr></table>

5 gig a day? I knew we pulled some bytes, just never realized it was that much on a daily basis.

The average site that you would probably make would be under 50mb and most sites are under 5 or 10mb.

But as you know this site his huge b/c of the databases w/ all of the archived news and stats.

Even the site itself pulls alot for a website - like 30 to 40GB which makes it hard to find good hosting. Most people who have that kind of bandwidth requirments have their own server. :)
