    I can't believe the references.. Maxwell?? Scott Brooks, Sam Mack? Terry, Cuttino, Larry Bird??

    I mean slight resemblance to a part of a lot of guys' shots, but you could list 100's of players then. He doesn't really resemble any of those guys except in minute ways..

    edit: I can see more of a resemblance if I think back to the young Bird..I have some Indiana State highlights running through my head, and at least I understand the argument somewhat now. I had previously been thinking of old-man Bird that barely jumped on the shot

    Lol-That three was the exact shot I was refering to with the comparison.

    Honestly, I think Wafer's shot has its own unique style. I could see a little bit of several players if I try hard enough, but none is really an exact match. So lets see, to be more descriptive I'll say Purvis + Maxwell with a dash of W.B.Free. (If my memory of what W.B.Free's shot looked like is correct. I was pretty young. ,<g>)

    There several things to consider ...

    1. Form
    2. Release point
    3. Elevation
    4. Quickness in release
    5. Arch in shot

    I think he gets alot of elevation like TMac or Ray Allen, and he has a lot of arch like Elie used to ... his form is sort of like Scola's (the way the ball is cradled) ... he also has a slow release like Elie

    Mitch Richmond had poor snap in his release, making it quicker as a result. I would compare his release and shot arch to Tim Hardaway.
