The mom should change her name to Jichelle. She's the outcast - startin' her name with an M. What a black sheep!!! :D

18 well behaved kids. Absolutely amazing. And they live completely debt free - pay cash for everything! I'm just one person and I can't live debt free!

Seriously, if you watch the show, you'll see how nice these people are. They've got 12-15 year olds that act more mature than most 25 year olds. I think the dad is/was a congressman or something. It's really amazing how little the parents have to do with that many kids - the older kids take care of the younger ones.

I'm not sure they have a TV or Internet (I could be wrong).... so that part sucks... :D

They are nice... but spooky cultish.

Same clothes, same haircuts, all start with letter "J", Biblical-era names, ultra-conservative mentality... It creeps me out to the point where you wonder if Warren Jeffs is in their rolodex.

Can't be the record in the USA. I knew a guy who was kid #32 out of 35.

Naming all your kids J-names is so stupid.

I have 2 brothers with M-names and we confuse those all the time, I can't imagine the flubs that family will have to endure, and all because Jim Bob keeps firing loaded missiles into Michelle's cave.

I think he ran for Congress but lost. His everyday job is a real estate broker.

At first, the show creeped me out. But like you, I realized, it was a normal family, just like the rest of ours. Except they are all efficient, loving and nice.

I completely agree - I've watched many of their shows. They're an incredible family with an incredible story. They do have TV and Internet, but they are HEAVILY monitored. And Jim Bob Duggar was a State Representative, wiki says.

It's not just the quantity of kids, it's how they can raise them all without losing their minds and how the house runs like clockwork. Most parents with 2 or 3 kids probably have to sleep with one eye open. lol.

With that many kids 18 and under, there's actually a pretty good chance that Kam will **** one of them.

ROFL!!! I dunno 'bout that. The oldest one just got engaged, and he's never done anything more than hug and hold hands. He's waiting to have his first kiss on his wedding day!

So lets say out of the 18 kids (assuming they stop @ 18 kids), all of them have at least 10 children each (which is not absurd by their standards).

That is 180 grand children. That is scary when you think about it.
