    Anyone here is feeling the effects of the economy already? If not, are you worried you will be in 2009?

    To be honest, I'm not really feeling anything. I'm going to cut back on spending for a while even though my job and my guy's are secure (we're with a big corporate company) but I'm concerned for my parents. My mom's job is with a small mortgage company and Dad works for some rich oil tycoon.

    it's terrible for me to think this, but i wouldnt mind a little downturn... it will help me when i buy a house next spring :eek:

    LOL @ poor people blaming the "economy" for their money-wasting and inefficient financial techniques... :p
    The joke is on you, my friend. It's the "CIS" now. You call yourself an 'american' when you don't know your own governmental offices... no wonder the rest of the world thinks the U.S. and A. is full of dummies... and ummm... such as... and they don't have maps... :eek:
