    Nice to see a young, strong, likable team win the World Series.

    Good job to the Rays also. Hope to see more success from them in the future. Not too much, though, since I'm a Jays fan. ;)

    I'm quite happy the Yankees, Red Sox, Dodgers, Cubs and Angels crapped out this year.

    How can anyone that post on this board have watched this game with the Rockets season opener! Chmon now. A true Rockets fan is watching opening night over anything.

    In all honesty, I forgot all about baseball. I stopped following it, when the "curse" was broken. Congrats to the Phillies though. :cool:

    I watched the Phillies game during commercials, and then switched over from the Rockets for a few minutes after out number two. I like the Phillies, and I always get choked up when a team wins the WS, so it was supremely enjoyable. Rockets eeked out an ugly one, but 1-0 nonetheless. It was a good sports night for me.
