    Well I have been mulling over this for a couple of days now. Knowing I was nearing post # 1000 and really wanting to make it count(not just posting woohoo I hit 1000). I have been deep in thought as to what piece of brilliant information could I post to make #1000 stand out. After several minutes of brainstorming I decide to pose the following question to you guys. What did you post for your #1000 and also are there any memorable post you have made? Are there any posts that you have made that you are extremely proud to have made?

    Didn't do anything memorable for post #1000, but I did do a take-off of "Eyes Wide Shut" for post #2000 using over 70 members here. Naturally, I thought it was pretty good, but I admit that I got the idea from Behad and his "Behad Is Captured" post.

    Posts that I am really proud of? Damn, that is a tough question.

    I would have to say that any "substantive" post in the Rockets Forum where some of the other heavyweights of that forum like a NIKEstrad or tpl or crispee came in and agreed with my points.

    As much as I love the hangout, I still get great enjoyment in putting together a solid take or post in the Rockets Forum.

    Also, my "little talk" with gettinbranded in that out-of-control Jazz thread started by ROCKET RICH NYC in the NBA Dish Forum is one that I feel might be untoppable.

    Way to go Castor27! What's the latest news on your bobblehead? I've been waiting for the pics.

    As far as post #1000 I have no idea what I'll do. I did an intro post for my #100. The posts that I'm most proud of have to be my first 50 or so. The quality of my posts have dropped as the quantity has increased. At first I thought I could make a change on the board and try to improve the Rockets forum, which I felt had slipped in quality quite a bit since 99. I can't think of any one particular post I'm proud of, but I can say I'm pleased with about 30-40% of my posts.

    I have never posted anything about my number of posts, except when I hit 3k, and that was in the middle of some thread, and was insignificant, like my other 3500+ posts.

    Now that I think of it, I did some GREAT work on the BBS. But it was the Mavs BBS, and it was from last year's playoff series with the Jazz. I proclaimed J-had (Jazz war) on some troll Jazz fans that flood the mavs board, talking a bunch of junk.

    Fun stuff.

    I should have it in the next 2-3 weeks. I took the photos for it earlier in the month. As soon as I get it I will take some photos and post the links for you guys.


    I cannot even remember my first post. I am sure it was something lame in the rockets forum :D

    Actually I did it because to me 1000 was sort of a milestone. It could have been worse. I have seen many people post there 1000th and just saying "this is my 1000th post". At least I tried to ask a question that could be discussed like a normal hangout thread. Plus by posting like this I get to respond to people like you and that helps me work my way to 2000 ;)

    BTW on a totally irrelevant note. I am considering getting the game Freedom Force. If I do I think my first super hero creation is going to be Hangout Boy. He will be constructed as a typical super hero sidekick!!
