In the space of a quarter two of our PF's went down to join another one, MoT. The same thing happened earlier this season with our SF's. Why would we then continue to talk about glut and the need to move this and that. The way our luck is we need all the depth we can have and we do not take proven players and categorize them as trade bait and looking urgently for a deal. I am not against trades but I do not think trading frequently is good for a team.

So if the team goes with EG, KT and MoT, next year, please understand that depth is a key to contending, since injuries will happen.

I understand what you are saying, but...

Say we have our current roster, and near everyone is healthy(No way that we have the number of injuries that we have had this season) and resigned next season. That leaves us with:

    C-Cato/Willis/Collier
    PF-Thomas/Taylor/Griffin
    SF-Rice/Williams/Morris/Langhi
    SG-Mobley/Torres
    PG-Francis/Norris/Brown

And two draft picks that, at least one of which, will be used to draft a big man. We could have up to 5 big men in our rotation with a similar amount of skills. Someone will have to sit on the bench...Whoever that is will, obviously, not be happy and want a trade or leave in free agency. We might as well trade that player for a backup guard, small forward, or upgrade at a big men spot while we can.
