Anyone else watching this? US had a good first season with two wins and two halves!

The Euros will come back. The Americans always play like crap in the afternoon session.

That's the thing -- they always play like crap in the morning session, too. Different year.

Different year plus no Monty... Dude had been a beast in these Ryder Cup matches.

Bad move by Faldo, leaving Monty off the team.

I can't say I follow golf much or the Ryder Cup. However, I do know we've traditionally blown goat balls in the Ryder Cup, so it's nice to see a change of pace so far :)

If you understand the Match Play format, there is as much drama in the Ryder Cup as in any sporting event. Each match is like a NCAA tournament game. When it's competitive, every shot can shift the momentum of the entire event.

    But a blow out isn't that much fun and 5 1/2 - 2 1/2 constitutes a blow out.
It's possible to come back, America has done it, but I don't see the Euro's roaring back. It usually comes down to Europe out putting the Americans but everybody was making everything today.

How they can constantly run in 6 footers under pressure is beyond me.

I watched it all today....back and forth with the Texans game.

The Ryder cup was much more fun to watch.

Yeah! US won, no thanks to Phil Mickelson as usual. I loved, absotively, posolutely loved seeing Sergio get a huge 5-4 smackdown from Anthony Kim. That made the whole Ryder Cup for me.

    Peace, yall!
