Nice comeback. Gotta love the 2 pinch hits for RBIs.

Very very nice once again :). I didn't have a ton of faith against Bucholz but we got some runs off him and then an insurance run in the 9th seals it.

    W00t!

Cards win only downfall about today. Would of been great if we won yesterday due the fact everyone but the cubs lost.

We did win yesterday. I assume you meant Moehler's start which very well could have been a win minus that HBP. Either way, 10 out of 11 is pretty sweet.

Meaningless but interesting stat from today's game:

    Rodriguez: 1 IP, 1 H, 3 SO, 0 BB
    Valverde: 1 IP, 1 H, 3 SO, 0 BB

Our SP and our closer had identical numbers.

Another nice series win on the road. Now to come home and take care of the one team that's been a true thorn in the side the last 2 years...the damn Pittsburgh Pirates. Maybe the Astros can exact some revenge on the city of Pittsburgh for what their Steelers did to the Texans...

We're no doubt in a tight spot, but we've got some hope with the Brew Crew having to play at Philly for 4 and then at Chicago for 3 amongst the next 10 games. (We'll try to forget about Cin at home for 3 starting tomorrow).

For the Stros, a sweep of the Pirates and 2 out of 3 against the Cubs thereafter and whoooooa it could get REALLY interesting.

Gotta get Wiggy back......is he really out 10 days? Ouch if that is true!!

Should be interesting watching a kid---Alberto Arias---who hasn't pitch for us all year get the start against the Pirates......Big Time Pressure there.

Do the Astros always have to make historic comebacks at the end of the season to make the post season?
