    He's actually quite a gifted passer, but he's not a very good shooter. He's probably the best Chinese backcourt player and it doesn't hurt than the lakers tapped into the Chinese Market.

    This is unlikely to happen because from the article it sounds like this kid is one of China's PGs who have trouble bringing the ball past half court. :D

    Yes, aside from Liu Wei, the Chinese PGs do suck. Sun is mainly in charge of defense in the Olympics; he seems to have a knack for stealing the ball. Handles are suspect, due to his height thus high dribbles, and shot is, well, inconsistent at best.

    something about it humiliating your oppponent or some such

    And they record a stat for dunks and award the player with the most dunks at the year's end because of that.
