Need help with my RAM

    I bought a Compaq desktop couple weeks ago, came with 1gb ram and 4gb capacity... so I purchased 2 2gb chips (4gb) and I just installed them. So I go to Crucial.com to make sure everything is being read fine, and it comes up with this:

    SAYS I have the "maximum" amount of RAM installed but then it SHOWS I have nothing lol wtf?

    And here is the screen cap of my System properties screen:

    Did I install it wrong or do you think Crucial.com is just acting up?

    I would believe BIOS over anything else. Just go into BIOS and if it says you have 4 gigs, you got 4 gigs.

    I've run into that same problem with that website before as well about a year ago. Its them and not you.
