Jeff answered your questions partly in the chievous thread about the clique. From what I understand, there has always been whispers of a clique or cliques since I have been here and before that time. This thread, right here, is the one that I mention it for the first time. At first, the response to my statement is not filled with favorable responses, but treeman finally takes my side. This is the one "clique" episode he and me are talking about: Now, why did I talk about it? Well, you have to remember this was back in August of 2001 when I had only been here for 2 weeks. I was getting tired of posting, what I thought, were solid takes in the Rockets forum, only to have no one respond back. I felt in a devious way that mentioning a clique would help get me noticed. It's sorta like a child that wants to receive attention for its actions...if it doesn't get any praise for doing stuff good, then it is going to start possibly do things that are bad because it wants ANY attention it can get even if it is bad or negative. Ah....those were the good ole days. Do I really believe that there's a clique here now?? Well, sorta yes and sorta no. Sorta no in the fact that people here that like each other don't get together (for the most part) and band up together against others. However, posters who have similar views like say you and MadMax on abortion or haven and Jeff on foreign policy or crispee and The Cat on Mobley, etc. might be considered by some to have a "mini-clique". Does that make sense? I know that I didn't explain that well, but I think you get what I mean by that statement. Well, anyway there's the answer to your question.
I guess that a lot of the posters here actually know one another. They seem to. Thanks for the heads up. Any good threads of the clique in action rather than just being a rumor of war? I've seen it; I just can't name it....

I never got to be in the clique...DoD would never let me in on the secret meetings...he just never wanted me to upstage him and make him look silly. But I think I can make my own like Pole and will also be the only one in it. I will call my clique the "Way overrated on the BBS clique." Life will basically continue the same untile some of these fools realize that I am a bum.
