    Well, how many players actually can? Plus, he'll be coming off the bench, likely playing against 2nd teamers. Plus, I doubt, he would be put in the situation to cover the likes of Kobe,etc for long stretches. Especially when you have Battier and McGrady on the team.

    McGrady doesn't play much defense,which is very unfortunate but Battier can't cover for both of their weaknesses. I hope McGrady will take more responsibility on the defensive end which can make things easier for not only Barry but for the entire team.

    adding a shooter never hurts. the pluses are he is tall, a smart player and has decent handles, so he can backup at the 1, 2 and 3.

    A beautiful play. I hope we see a lot of similar plays from Barry this season. Another beautiful thing is having him signed now, when he'll be able to study the playbook and have a full training camp to learn the system. This is a very smart guy and I think he'll pick up the offense fairly quickly. Great signing! :cool:
