If this trade is true, there has to be a trade in the works. I know we had a lot guards last year to work with, but now a lot of forwards. The Rockets have said that they need a wing player.

New Jersey? CDR hmm. Somethings up.

I don't think there's anyway CDR lasts for 14 more picks... and if he does I wouldn't be able to help myself from thinking that there's gotta be something wrong with him.

I knew CDR wouldn't fall past NJ at 40. Sad that Morey couldn't do anything to grab this guy.

The Nets just got Yi Jianlian. Maybe Battier + Batum for Jianlian + CDR?

Ahh man, how could we inform Portland to pick those guys at 33/36?
If the trade is true that is.

A tremendous athlete who is young (19) and has a ton of potential. While he's a scorer, Batum needs to improve his ballhandling so he can better create shots at the NBA level. Scouts say his only real drawback is that he's Euro-soft, but that's something Batum should be able to overcome with work. I wanted Chris Douglas-Roberts, but people I trust tell me this kid's a keeper.

    NJ Nets picks so far:

    10 (10) New Jersey Brook Lopez 7-0 240 F Stanford
    21 (21) New Jersey Ryan Anderson 6-10 235 F California
    10 (40) New Jersey Chris Douglas-Roberts 6-6 200 G Memphis

    What a draft...

Players that would be part of OUR roster right away if we landed them

2 PFs? the trade cant be true. Maybe it's the 36th pick, Omer Asik as a future backup center.

Are the Rockets going to play with all forwards next year? Maybe when the air clears this will all make sense. Right now, I don't get it.

Maybe because of what happened the last couple of years, we just assumed a trade would be made. Looks like a rumor still, but I would be happy if we just kept Batum. Just say no to Joey Dorsey. Maybe we can trade Batum and Battier for Outlaw and somebody else.

    Hellllllllllllllo?

If we do land Arthur and Dorsey, there is obviously another trade in the works to dump some of our PF's.

Ford thinks that Arthur was a steal at 27.

Isn't this point of which Feigen is supposed to post something on his blog as to what the Rockets are actually doing and why its the best thing?
