Maybe Hakeem as a middle name, but I wouldn't think too outside the box for a first name.

I read in Quirkology that there's a higher occurrence of people who choose careers based from their names than not...more Larrys become lawyers (Lawrence). More dentists were named Dennis or Dennise. A surname of Baker would have a better likelihood of becoming...you guessed it, a master of the pastry sciences.

The writer even noticed that a lot more Florences lived in Florida, Kens lived in Kentucky, and George lived in Georgia.

I'm only 14 but when I'll have my first son, I will call him Akeem, without a H. I'm Muslic but from yusoslavia so I think it's alright. The reason why I want to call Akeem without the H is that my last name start with a '' K ''. Then I will subscribe him in basketball to wear number 47. AK-47. I know Kirilenko already made it.

Fidel or Castro would make him a popular one. Saddam is also 'unique' and non-traditional. If you go with a food reference then Schlotzsky. Or may be even name him after your favorite car (use a numerical name, it's the trendy thing with babies these days, like M3 or G35)...or a movie reference then Zohan.
