MySpace vs. Facebook

I had never heard of this. Checking it out now.

 

LinkedIn for me.

 

I had MySpace before Facebook, but I like Facebook better. The design is cleaner, even with all the new applications. MySpace totally copied with the status updates.

 

It's the only one that I really find to be all that useful. It's for working professionals.

I have a Facebook/MySpace account, but I never log into MySpace, and I don't really do hardly anything on Facebook. I'm not really looking to pick up chicks or impress people with how many bands I know about, so I don't see the point.

 

I like Myspace better, I get sick and tired of people sending me stupid applications on Facebook.

 

I use facebook and linkedin. Facebook for keep in touch with college friends, and linkedin for professional connections. I only used facebook before and it didn't work out well. You don't want your boss see the picture of you getting drunk.

 

I have accounts on both. However, I do not use them.

I created the myspace one to check out my friends pictures. I forgot why I made the facebook one...

I use neither

 

i can't stand myspace. it's disgusting. dumb songs, stupid layouts..can't read anything half of the time thanks to r****ded backgrounds..

facebook was good and clean until they went crazy with the applications. now people's profiles take forever to load.

i still use facebook occasionally. i just use it look at pics posted, write on people's wall etc.

of course facebook wins.

jk, i'm not racist. but i have nothign else to do and i like to get a good laugh at other peoples' expense.

 

I use both to stay in touch with friends. Facebook has annoyed me with all of stupid apps... I hate seeing "[whoever] has sent you a drink!" on the home page.

I liked FB better when it only was for college students and now my 13 year old cousin is on FB!

I also have LinkedIn.

 

I have both but I like Facebook a lot more. I like how easy it is to share videos, songs and pics.

 

I have a myspace, everyone tells me I'm using it wrong, apparently, I'm supposed to keep adding more and more friends even if I couldn't care less about them or if I don't intend to talk to them regularly. I'll check out facebook.

 

Used to visit MySpace daily and Facebook every now and again, but now I check each one maybe once every 2 weeks or so just to see if anyone has died or something like that.

 

I have accounts on both but its more a question of how much time do you spend on it.

They shouldn't be giant time sucks hopefully. Unless of course its about talking about the Houston Rockets.

I check every day and comment to a couple people but that takes maybe 15 minutes.

Its a really convenient way to keep in touch with people who otherwise I would not have the privilege of regularly seeing. I'm also not a phone person, unless I'm drunk.

I wonder what the side effects could be if we become over reliant on these sites as a substitute for actual social interaction? A generation of social anxiety? The stuff can be addicting. Kind of like... this place.

 

I think myspace has more 15 year olds to hook up with and stuff.

anyhoo, umm, i use it seldomly, but it's not a big deal to me. I like it to learn about chicks I find.

First I logged into hi5, then myspace only to see some pics of my friends, and facebook, I didnt had anything to do one day, and started to use it, but now I dont check them, only once a week, or once a month.

Btw I just signed on myspace after years of absense.. what the hell is this Mexican stuff about???

 

I ask that because of when I used to lurk this site I remembered the Hannah Montana threads and things like that and the "more 15 year olds to hook up with" comment.
