    My wife recently won an award and I’d like to surprise her by sending some congratulatory flowers and/or chocolates to her workplace next week. I tried 1-800-flowers, but for some reason, they have the day I want to have them delivered blacked out as a delivery date (is Monday some kind of holiday?).

    Any other suggestions?

    Monday is Memorial day. Probably most will not deliver that day.

    Edit: wait.. which Monday... the one coming up or the one after (cause that's memorial day the 26th)

    Find the zip code of where she works. Google the zip and "florist". Get a local shop to deliver and avoid the 1-800-flowers fee. Flowers will still probably come from the same place.

    The 19th. It says Victoria Day on my calendar. They don't deliver flowers on Victoria Day? Victoria Day?!?? We talkin' 'bout VICTORIA DAY?!?!?

    Most florists now charge a delivery fee, maybe not as much but sometimes it is the same or even more.

    Even if 1 8000 flowers delivered that day, you shouldn't use them! 99% of the time i've gotten flowers from them something has went wrong with the order. i.e. delivered valentines day NIGHT! + wrong vase :mad:
