    I can't seem to find a site with working torrents. They never start. But I heard Demonoid is pretty good.

    To my understanding you have to keep up a good upload/download ratio in demonoid. It's not open to everyone etc, you have to keep a positive upload ratio.

    Not entirely true. You could have a .00002 ratio with 1 TB downloaded and you still wouldn't get banned there. If you're a decent user it's almost impossible not to keep a ratio over 1.00.

    More dedication by its members and harder to find stuff.

    Like someone else said, ratio enforcement is nonexistent, and don't expect the "privacy" found in a private torrent site.
