I'm sure this doesn't interest very many people on this board, but I thought it was so amazing I'd -post my story on the BBS. Anyways, we have a senior elite hockey team here in town called the Texarkana Bandits, and they are going to the national championships in April. To raise funds for the trip, the team auctioned off special Mardi Gras jerseys after last nights game (last home game). Most of the jerseys went for between $400-1000, which is high enough (for minor league jerseys). Then, they get to the captain, Jason Sanjuliano, and a bizarre bidding war breaks out between two ladies and the auction goes all the way up to FIFTY TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS! I thought it was pretty damn amazing...
