    Rasmussen is just out with its latest poll, showing Hillary's lead in Pennsylvania is down to 5 points.

    In the same poll a week ago, it was a 10-point spread.

    Late Update: SurveyUSA also has new Pennsylvania poll out, showing Hillary with a still-healthy 12-point lead, although that, too, is down, from 19 points in the last poll.

    The SurveyUSA one is most interesting to me - they've been the overall most accurate of the bunch in these polls through the earlier primaries. I'd like to see the cross-tabs they normally provide, but it doesn't appear they've put that poll on their website just yet. Rasmussen has been consistently showing this closer than I think it is, so I'd guess we're looking at about a 10-15 pt lead right now.

    Due to demographics, I don't think Obama can win PA in the primary. I think a single digit loss would be a huge victory, and my guess right now would be that she wins by around 10-15.

    If you believe that looking at the facts of what happened on the ground as being invested in defeat then what does that say about the person who won't even acknowledge the reality on the ground there.

    The "defeat" you talk about is a victory for the strong majority of Americans and Iraqis (roughly 70%) who want our troops to leave soon. Eventually you neo-cons will have to concede to the democratic will in the US and Iraq.

    no, that's not the sad part, the sad part is that war is all a game for basso and his war game fantasies. he's still not over leaving vietnam because he only sees wars in terms of victory/defeat.

    Poll Gives Obama The Lead In Pennsylvania

    This morning's Public Policy Polling (D) survey of Pennsylvania gives Barack Obama a narrow lead in the Democratic primary, a huge change from the previous poll two weeks ago:

    Obama 45% (+15)
    Clinton 43% (-13)

    On the one hand, this is a huge outlier — polls over the last two days from SurveyUSA, Rasmussen and Quinnipiac have Clinton ahead by 6-12 points. On the other hand, PPP has had a pretty good track record this cycle, so maybe they're ahead of the curve on this one.
