[Video] T-Mac's dagger three and Bill Worrell's "finest hour" statement

He's perhaps right on his assessment but thats NOT the fans. Thats a single commentator speaking for himself, with Clyde Drexler a member of one of the championship teams right next to him.

Using their homer commentators as a gauge, we could assume Clippers fans' consensus opinion is their team's the best in the league.

 

I think we should cut Worrell some slack, he got all caught up in the moment. We all say things in the moment and later go "why the heck did i say that for".

However...this 20 game streak is very historical, we'll be only the 3rd team in NBA HISTORY to ever have achieved that, at least for a while (hopefully many years)

Not downgrading the value of a championship, but hey, there's one every single year. What the Rockets are doing now happens every few *decades*. It will be even more significant and elite-status if they extend the streak (tho it's highly unlikely they'll reach the Lakers' 33).

Don't get me wrong, I would love a championship more than anything. And the back-to-backs the Rockets had was a super accomplishment.

But the only thing Bill's guilty of is... LOVIN' IT. RIGHT NOW. while it lasts.
