    I'm curious. Why do some people on this message board end their post with their username or an abbreviation of it?

    I can see your username on the side just like everyone else's. Is it an ego thing? Is it just a weird obsessive compulsive problem?

    Seriously...why?

    Not quite as annoying as the song lyrics posts, but close.

    Rocket River gets a free pass on this one though because he was the original poster that started doing it. Everyone else copied him and should be ashamed of their actions.

    There's a guy on another message board I read who not only puts his name at the bottom (and this is a board that requires people to use their real names), but also puts the city where he lives.

    I thought that was a little silly.
