I made coffee the wrong way, is something bad gonna happen?!!!!

    I don't normally drink coffee, but felt tired today so decided to make some. I put a couple of teaspoons or tablespoons (don't know which)it in cup, put boiling water in it, added some milk. As I drank it it was really bitter, so i added some milk and sugar. It was a lil better.

    But, I noticed the coffee stuff didn't dissolve! I look at the container and find out that its the kind that you're supposed to put in a coffee maker (using a filter etc).

    I have some of this coffee grounds in me now....is anything gonna happen to me? I also drank like 1/3 of the whole thing before putting it in the drain

    Nothing will happen, but if you eat watermelon seeds, some dirt and a lil bit of love, you should be throwing up watermelons in no time

    If it's ground up coffee beans, you shouldn't worry. I had some chocolate covered coffee beans this weekend.

    I make coffee just like that occasionally, if I don't want to make a full pot. I just make sure I leave the last 3/4" or so in the cup so I don't drink too many grounds. While I don't like it as much as drip coffee, it's way better than instant.

    it's almost been 25 minutes, and I don't notice anything wrong. So I am probably fine. Thanks for the responses guys :D
