    Therse no effective way to test for HGH, unless you have blood samples before and after taking HGH. Not that I'm advocating Yao should take HGH.

    I thought HGH was just for muscles.

    I bet the calcium/magnesium supplements and some Vitamin D/K would do more for him.

    HGH does nothing to help recovering injuries, let alone a BONE FRACTURE; and Yao is pretty damn low on body fats, and he's done with bulkup. There's really no need for NBA to ban HGH anyway, it's more of a PR stunt on their part, HGH does very little to help playing hoop.

    Actually, HGH does wonders for repairing connective tissue. I doubt it would help with a bone fracture and it does next to nothing for building lean muscle when used alone on healthy, adult males.

    And for the record, if Petitte really did only use HGH a few times it didn't play any role in his recovery. It takes several months for HGH to have a beneficial effect as it's main role in the body is stimulating the endocrine system to produce other hormones.

    That's what I was thinking. TO came back from a broken leg in a month because he was sleeping in a hyperbaric chamber everyday.
