Dana Barros, Chris Gatling, Tyrone Hill have been out of the league for a while now (couldn't decide which was worse).

Okay, each time I kept reading that post more names kept showing up. Thought I was going crazy.

I'd still take any of those three over Magloire.

Chris Gatling started eighty-six games in his entire career. If I were forced to pick the worst all star out of the three mentioned, it would be him. As a matter of fact, after reviewing his numbers, I feel like I disrespected Ty Hill and Barros after mentioning their name in the same sentence as Gatling. His career numbers: 10.5 ppg, 5.3 rpg, .5 bpg, .7 spg,

    Wally Z?

    Mehmet Okur?

naw...Magloire is worse. I think some scrub centers have become All Stars just because there is no competition a the position.

Maybe Toronto will pick him up, they could use another big body. Plus he is from Toronto.

    HUH??

    Chris Byrd was a boxer.

Do you mean "the birdman" Chris Anderson??

he was suspended by Stern for 2 years for drugs, and is due back soon.

Mags had, like, a 16 PER when he was selected. Gatling's was better, as was Wally's (I think).

There were a few bad ones in the WC back in the late 60s, IIRC.

Also -- again, IIRC -- Mags was actually chosen by the coaches. Gatling was like the 19th All-Star taken for the West back in 1997, everyone was injured.

My vote goes to Mehmet. I mean were the coaches even watching him play?

Hey, at least Magloire didn't get traded for Shawn Bradley, Ed O'Bannon, Robert Pack and Khalid Reeves a few days after the All Star Game. ;)
