I agree, I just can't see a way that we move Bonzi at this point unless it's for Artest or Miller. Trading away our 6th man, backup swing for a salary dump and an old backup point guard would be silly.

I feel bad for Mike, he and his family loves Houston. Oh well, NO is close enough to home.

Man, this reminds of the Boki /Jim Jackson for David Wesley trade. It seems like we always throw in a good player just to get rid of bad contract.

Bonzi's inside presence traded for Bobby's dependable J

This is weird trading to a divisional rival, and what of Luther Head since Bobby's game is basically a better version of Luther.

I remember TMac and Bobby getting into a fight a long time ago.

I have a feeling the Rockets may make a move for Artest after this, didn't read the article but one line jumped out.

Which I would think would free up Aaron Brooks for a trade as a backup point guard would be found in Bobby Jackson, just a thought.

this was purely a salary dump (i guess what was reported is true that les really was frustrated w/ james and the money he's paying him and he's useless)

however, this really makes brooks AND head expendable to get artest.

now they do have a reason to give up brooks (brooks was our only backup PG).

we'll see when the trade deadline ends tomorrow.

morey is smart. there's a reason to everything he does.

love this move.. bonzi was just a 3 month rental anyway. Bobby's used to Rick's system and he can still ball. I love this trade.
