I am thinking about flying to New Orleans on tomorrow, just as a spur of the moment thing. Would it be easy (or possible) to get ticket to All Star events (Saturday night and the actual game) if I just showed up in town tomorrow afternoon?

Do these things sell out? All Star Game was in H-town a couple years ago, so I thought maybe some of you would have experience.

I feel like they have been sold out for a while now.

It would be easy to buy them from scalpers outside the game, expensive probably, but easy.

A scalping trick I use, is that I wait for about 10 minutes after the game has started. The scalper is usually in panic mode to sell his last remaining tickets. Thus if you don't mind missing the introductions and so forth, you can get a really good deal.
