It's amazing that this one play probably kept the Patriots from being the greatest team in NFL history.

That is when you know destiny is on your side. Just an unbelievable catch.

Oh, no question the Giants front gave Dallas trouble. But compared to everyone else--including NE, who I thought had the best Oline, Dallas's oline now looks outstanding.

Still Dallas had major edge's in rushing, total yards and TOP. Overall the Giants didn't out physical them. Cowboy mistakes--lots of costly unforced penalties (kept both NY first half TD drives alive), drops, special teams breaks, etc--allowed that game to come down to one position where the NYG came on top. It wasn't like the GB and NE game where NY just looked like the dominant physical team throughout.

All credit to the Giants to beating 3 outstanding football teams, 2 on the road and all when those team had extra rest. (Extra credit but much less for Tampa--that was just a weak playoff team most any year)

That and Samuels not catching that INT. Or Mr. Videotape going for it on 4th and 13.

I don't know why people feel kinda sad they missed history by not seeing a 19 and 0 team.

That last NY Drive...that freaking catch by Tyree, the scramble and escape by Manning...

The Pats winning would've been historic. But the way the Giants won...that's legendary.

I'll agree with some of that. We didn't dominate the Cowboys until the 4th when their big FAT linemen started getting winded. After that though we were clearly the more dominating team, albeit in only one quarter, but thats the one where it counts :D

lets not forget the EXCELLENT All pro line that got Brady hit 23 times and nearly his arm torn off by Tuck at the end of the 1st half.

I just realized that this is NY's first major championship in any of the 4 big sports since 9/11.

    Congrats to the Giants.
