Need Help= Its about an old PBS show.

    I cant remember the name of it and its driving me crazy. It had these two kinds of robots, white and black. it was a wierd science=fiction type deal. can anybody help me out here?

    It was a serious science fiction show, kind of dark...
    I think it was late 80s, early 90s. It was kinda wierd.
