I'd like to pull for the guy (I really would), but he keeps reinforcing the reasons why I'd like to see him gone. One minute he'll do something that I'd like to see him do more of, like the block on Voshkuhl where he came down on him like a hammer & was called for the foul (I can live with the foul, as long as he continues with the enforcer mentality), the occasional block that he gets, & the monster dunks (I wonder how long it'll be before the refs start calling him for swinging on the rim), but I can't live with his, more often than not, lackadaisical attitude. What's set me off on this tirade is the setting of picks for the PGs. When the PG brings the ball up the court & sets up for a play, Griffin always runs over to set a pick, while Cato literally walks over. What's he think he's doing, sneaking up on them? I didn't get to watch the whole game tonight, but I saw Cato set a pick for the PG 2 times, & both times he walked over. One of those times he was a good 15 feet away & that's the reason for my tirade. Maybe he doesn't realize that there is a shot clock. Whatever the reason, if I were the coach, I would've called a time out & yanked him out of the game. Thank God I'm not the coach, because I wouldn't have the patience that Rudy does with Cato. Okay, I'm through venting. We now return you to your regularly scheduled programming.
You should be pissed off at Kenny Thomas. I am soooo pissed at that guy right now..... but I don't feel like venting. To sum up my feelings, he made tooooooo many mistakes. Just too much. Stupid fouls, stupid shots, stupid turnovers.....he's just plain stupid. If you ask me, I think that's the reason we lost.
He does sux and we need to find someone to take his contract and sorry ass attitude. Check this out though: Why do we run a high pick and roll with Cato 20ft from the basket? Who in their right mind is going to guard him out there? This offense makes no sense.
