I was drunk for about 6 years. Some people call it "college," or so I hear.

 

3 OR 4 (I'm the highest so far)

 

Lynus, only 6 years in college? What'd you get? An asscoiates?


I'm drunk at least 3 or 4 times a week, if school is in session. If it isn't, then I am drunk everynight.

Regardless, take everyhting I post after 2 AM with a grain of salt. I'm drunk, usually.

 

I've actually never been drunk. I grew up with a drunk in the house so the last thing I wanted was to be like that.

 

I'll have at least 2 glasses of wine per day. Usually after work with my girl, we like to have a bottle of wine sometimes with dinner or sometimes as the appetizer. That doesn't get me drunk or anything, but I hear its good for the heart!

I rarely get "drunk" drunk, but when I do its too late and I'm usually worthless and wanna go to sleep.

 

And you call yourself a musician!!

 

ive gone on week long drug binges that have included alcohol...does that count...

 

I never had a drink until one night when I was 16 and me and my buddies got really, really drunk at this girl's party. We ended up in the slammer that nite for underage drinking. I decided I'm never going to drink again and haven't now for 2 1/2 years. It would probably make me do stuff I'd regret. I've already had sex, but I regretted that too and I'm never doing it again till my wedding nite. I've never, though, touched cigs or drugs in my life. And I never will. It's all pretty much a committment to God and my health.

Just curious, are you completely abstinent, or do you just not get drunk?

I got a BS in Public Relations and Advertising with a minor in Fine Art.

It just took so long because:
1) I was busy chasing p***y and drinking beer
2) I was busy chasing p***y and drinking beer
and
3) I was busy chasing p***y and drinking beer

Somewhere inbetween all that I managed to change my major about 4 times.

I really wished I'd joined the Army right out of high school and gotten all of the idiocy and immaturity out of my system. I could have signed up for the G.I. Bill and learned some responsibility while I was there. Oh well, woulda coulda shoulda.

 

Wow, Lynus, you were one classy guy in college.

There is a school of thought that states that most kids are not mature enough for college right after highschool.

I have never been drunk two days/nights in a row. After an illness freshman year in HS, I never had that kind of stamina. That, and I burned out of the whole drinking to get drunk thing early.

 

Wow, I haven't been "drunk, drunk" in a LOOOONG time...

Sometimes I'll have a beer or glass of wine in the evening, after work. Game nights I might have a mixed drink or margarita... but I haven't been "drunk" for several years...

I played with so many drunks and addicts, it was probably a good thing I was sober!

 

I don't drink at all. I have had a few drinks before but I haven't had anything to drink in years.

 

Lynus, I have your problem. I'm going through my 6th year as well. But heck, what am I gonna do w/o a degree anyway?

 

Blasphemy. It's still fun. Of course, I do wish I had other outlets in life to occupy my time.
