I like when they ask that question at Amy Ruth's in Harlem.............Naturally, I say, "one of each." Of course, I was surprised the first time when they brought me out a fried chicken breast with the wing still attached, and a fried leg with both the drumstick and thigh together. Half a fried chicken (almost as good as my own....and THAT is saying a lot), a big ass waffle and real butter and real maple syrup. Damn that is some good eat'in. I always eat there around eleven in the morning, so I can spend the rest of the day walking it off.
I like the taste of dark meat, but the breast gives you so much more meat than the other pieces, that given the option to just pick one piece, that is what I would go for.
White or Dark? Let me get the requisite 'Hispanic?' out of the way. Dark. White meat tastes so bland. And buffalo wings are one of the greatest inventions known to mankind.
The wings have the least meat and the most of that wonderful tasty skin by far.
Fixed properly.
To me, the Thigh and the leg are the same thing. Cause I never separate them. Gotta have a thigh when you eat a leg. So much juicy meat. Hmmm....I hate u. I'm hungry now! (and I'm at work....till 8am)
Grilled quarter legs (Thigh and Leg) is my favorite. After that I would say: Deep fried leg grilled or baked breast My least favorite is the wing unless it's broken apart and made into hot wings. I voted leg since it's my favorite part of the quarter leg. Edit: With turkey it is always the breast though.
