Any TOOL fans out there? The show is Sunday and this will be my first time seeing them live. I'm geeked! yeah I know, its not much of a topic, but I couldn't stand another freakin middle east or God thread!
I am a Tool fan, HTown. Let me ask you this, did you like the latest album, Lateralus? Because I went to the Dallas show last Wednsday, and they played pretty much the entire Lateralus album, and then 4 songs off other albums (Eulogy, Aenima, Stinkfist, and Undertow). Frankly, I was disappointed in how much time they spent on useless crap (you will see what I mean when you go....some odd things man). Anyway, just wanted to warn you as to what they would likely be playing. They probably won't play the same songs, however, because before the Dallas show I checked some other cities set lists, and I don't think there were any two the same.
I like latteralus, but I love the older stuff. I hope they play at least one song off Opiate. Thanks for the info.
Also, HTown, I wanted to warn you of one thing. I don't know if you drink or not, but Tool has been specifically requiring all of their venues to not sell ANY alcohol during their show. For me, that was great to hear, because I can't remember the last show I went to where some drunken buffoon didn't stumble into me or spill his beer on me. I was just letting you know.
