Houston -- On Sunday, October 21, 2001, the Houston Rockets set the NBA record for most attempted alley-oop passes. Led by Steve Francis, who had 10, the Rockets set the record midway through the 3rd period with their 30th attempted alley oop pass. Unfortunately, the Rockets had a much harder time converting the passes than they did lobbing them up.

EG looked rough offensively but he was winded and very likely nervous. He rebounded well and blocked some shots and changed a bunch. He looks like a natural on the floor.

Even if it is just the preseason, can you imagine playing in an NBA game at 19? He had to be nervous.

I hope Rudy doesn't have him launching so many jumpers from long distance. It would have been better had we seen him post up a little more with back picks. I wish more teams ran the Utah's little man to big man pick play, you really can get shots closer to the basket.

writhe wasn't being serious, but I was thinking the same thing during this game.

Francis really needs to pull his head out of his ass and play smart basketball. He must have attempted like 15 alley-oop passes and was only successful twice.

I couldn't believe some of the bonehead passes he attempted...

    Thank you, BGM.

Let's not forget the alley oop Walt threw to EG ... the one that was 10 feet above the rim.
