    The post draw for the Kentucky Derby is today. The Derby is this Saturday with coverage on NBC starting at 3:30.

    Anyone have a favorite??

    I like the favorite..Curlin. Arkansas Derby Champ....like another horse who shall go unnamed but whose name rhymes with Farty Loans.

    lost a lot of enthusiasm for the sport
    I had not heard much about it until you mentioned it

    Barbaro is a champion for the sport. You haven't heard anything about it since because that was the last leg of the Triple Crown. It's that season again.

    it's a fringe sport to begin with.

    I have no clue. But I went to the Derby in 2000. If anyone has that opportunity, do not pass it up. I had no clue about how big a deal it was beforehand. It was a ton of fun. Nothing compares to the palpable excitement during the actual race.

    OK, in an effort to take this a bit seriously, I looked up the draw.

    There is a horse named "Iamawildandcrazyguy". This is awesome. I'll bet you a beer my horse is way faster than yours.

    Anyone watching the pre-show? Some of the worst TV I've ever seen . . . they just spent all this time interviewing second-tier celebrities and asking them what they thought . . . "well, um, we just pick the one with the good name" . . . alright, cool, how is that interesting? I couldn't care less what Nick LeShay (sp?) thinks about the Kentucky Derby . . . and then they had Jenny McCarthy talk about how she picks horses . . . holy crap, that was brutal

    It's better now that they've finished their celebrity portion, but wow, still pretty bad . . .

    I'm picking Tiago to win, btw.
