I think you're exactly right. The Jazz, and their fans, will be playing at a very high emotional level to start. The adrenilin will be flowing like a river! However, it is very difficult (and I say this from personal experience) to maintain that level for long. The Rockets must match the Jazz shot for shot, rebound for rebound, and not lose it when a call or two goes the Jazz's way. (I think the officials all to often get caught up in the heat of the moment as well - just hope Bavatta's one of the refs).

Playing in a game like this is almost like surfing - got to stay level and determined and not even think about a wipeout.

Getting geeked for gametime. A lot will depend on the 1st half in this game. It would be nice to actually have a lead at halftime since we haven't, yet. I believe a lead at halftime will lead to a win. Got to get the crowd out early and keep them out.
