AK's Wife: Get an interpreter

I saw the Kirilenko's on the Tyra Banks show, and Masha has an arrangement with Andre where he can sleep with other women.

 

I guess that makes her a fabulous wife.

While he is good, that may be taking it a little too far. I'd argue that Camby is better than he is right now. There are probably 2-3 guys that are currently in the NBA now that might be better. To compare him with an all-time great is overdoing it in my humble opinion.

 

Actually, he had Colin Pine around for his second season as well.

Anyway, what's up with this wife thing in NBA? First, there was this wife of G. Rice who was calling out the coach, and demanding more play calls for her husband; then we had that wife of J Kidd who demand the Nets to talk to her before get to Kidd; now we have Ms. Russia stood up to blame the coach's lack of understanding of her husband? Was there a NBA wifes' union somewhere?

 

sloan and ak have both cited the lack of playing time available at the 4 as the reason for ak's struggles.

 

only because she knows he'd rather play sim city than. if he was a playa, she'd never agree to that, women are devious like that.

No! she was totally wrong about that. I think AK has been in america longer than yao, yet yao has been able to do ok after having an interpreter for a couple of years.. now with none, dont know how longs its been tho. (still gets help from the reporters every so often )

Its not a surprise that yao has surpassed AK in english already if he applied his superhuman work ethic toward learning the language.

There's a lot of crazy wives and ex-wives of pro-athletes. Consider Jeff Bagwell's ex. The money and glamor of sports probably attract a lot of controlling gold digger types.

 

I don't know that Yao has a full time interpreter, I thought he only had that for a couple of seasons, but I think he had one near during interviews after game one, though perhaps it was just help from an off camera journalist who also spoke Chinese... or is it mandarin? I don't know, someone helped him with a question or two.

No and I'm glad AK isn't using that pass. Any man who would think of using that is scum.
