    Did they ever refer to him as "The Babe" after he hit the game winning home run 2 years ago in the 18 inning game?

    I could have shown they Astros did but my friend says that is the most ridiculous thing he has ever heard of.

    I heard some Astros jokingly calling Burke that during some post-game interviews during the playoff run. It wasn't just about the 18th inning yak; he had hit a few in big situations, dating back to the regular season (IIRC).

    I remember thinking, "Surely he won't keep this up at this pace. If he does, he's is Babe Freaking Ruth."

    He hit the homer to win it against the Braves and then the next game was against the Cards and he hit a home run, in a pinch hitting role I think. I do remember an Astros player refer to him as the Babe, because he did have a good post season that year.
