Crush Web Sites Of Terror Here

    Richard Z. Chesnoff
    The New York Daily News

Now that we're finally slamming into Osama Bin Laden and his Taliban stooges, it's time to come down on those U.S.-based terror-backing organizations — including some with past ties to Bin Laden — that still maintain propaganda and proselytizing networks operating out of New York, Florida, Illinois, Michigan, California and Texas, just to mention a few states.

Unbelievably, even with allied troops in action, most of these organizations continue to openly solicit funds for themselves and their favored terrorist gangs.

If you don't believe me, check out www.iap.org, the Web site of the Islamic Association for Palestine, an organization that supports the line of Hamas, the Palestinian terrorist organization that proudly takes credit for Mideast suicide bombings. If you are still moved to further promote Hamas' blood-drenched anti-peace efforts, you can tap into the IAP network and get a donation form online. As iap.org's Web master explains, this will enable you to "help the IAP to continue its work in promoting the cause of Palestine."

Also, www.palestine-info.net is the official Web site of Hamas itself and runs out of Lebanon with a U.S. hookup in Florida. This site not only provides details of the "glorious record" of Hamas attacks, but can give you the full texts of the religious fatwas (edicts) that authorize suicide bombings, as well as biographical information about the deceased ghouls ("martyrs," according to Hamas) who carried them out.

Then there's www.qudscall.com, the Web site of Islamic Jihad, the terrorist group whose Egyptian "religious leader" was linked to the 1993 World Trade Center bombing. According to Mideast scholar Daniel Pipes and Washington-based terrorism expert Steve Emerson, whose research has exposed the terror sites, an outfit called Web Site Source is host to qudscall.com in Houston, a popular city for Palestinian organizations. It, too, offers you friendly advice on where to send your donations.

Needless to say, all these groups insist they merely support the "political" branches of their favored terrorist organization. Contributions help spread the word or are funneled, they claim, to charitable and educational bodies.

Baloney! There is no difference between the political and religious goals of terror gangs like Hamas, Islamic Jihad and Bin Laden's Al Qaeda. And there is really no difference between the political and military activities of these groups, either. Besides, who in Beirut, Gaza, Ramallah or Kabul is in charge of making sure that American contributions go only to nonmilitary ends? And are virulently anti-Western schools where young people are taught how to be suicide bombers legitimate goals for American philanthropy?

Americans have a right to voice lawful opinions. And Lord knows there are passionate differences of opinion. But there is no room in our country for Internet calls to armed jihad and hateful violence. The Islamic Committee for Palestine — a front for Islamic Jihad whose leader Sami al Arian was a tenured professor at the University of South Florida and reportedly even attended events at the White House — was closed down in 1995. But its hate-filled material is still out there in the ether. It's time to stop them all! We owe at least that to our troops.
