    anyway i just think a 1st rounder and EG is just too much. though if they insist on a 1st wouldn't i suppose rockets can still make it work with free agency in mind if they can ditch EG from this proposed deal.

    Jon I just got this from S.I. com do you have anything on this subject, the deal looks like it is going to happen. • Mike James appears headed back to Houston, possibly for the soon-to-be-retired Bob Sura and a first-round pick, according to a league source. Another player would have to be included by the Rockets to make it work. Steve Novak is considered a possibility.

    Just got off the phone with Mike's agent.

    No deal.

    He said there's still a slim chance for MJ going back to one of his other former teams, Detroit.

    I've been hearting that the Timberwolves wanted a big. The Rockets did not have one they could afford to give up.
