I've been wondering about terroristic attacks in other countries. They haven't been anywhere near the severity of our tragedies but they have and still do happen. They happen in other countries (such as Israel, Ireland, etc.) on a monthly basis. So what do these countries do after one happens, how do they deal with it since it is so frequent?

I heard an American journalist on the radio today who spent 3 years in Tel Aviv. He told the story of a crowded marketplace at the lunch hour. Somebody noticed an abandoned cell-phone. The marketplace is cleared and the area roped off. The police bring in a robot to try and detonate the device. They do. They clean up the mess. The ropes are removed and the people flood back in. All this took place in about 15 minutes. Life goes on.

That pizza parlor that got blown up a few weeks ago was back in operation within a couple of weeks.
