He should only apologize after he comes to understand the mistakes and misunderstandings he has made. I am not sure he understands that yet, so he shouldn't apologize now, but once he does understand.

Players are acquired for their abilities and skills

Now JVG wants VSpan to play a different style before he can get playing time, I'd say that's a perfectly good time to complain.

    It's exactly how America works

    Van Gundy should apologize

For only playing a 7 man rotation, when most the league plays at least 9. How does anybody get better on our bench, when only 2 players get off it. What happens when Yao returns? Is Luther Head or Bonzi Wells being demoted to DNP status. 7 man rotation is a 7 man rotation, so why would JVG change his DAMN system when Yao comes back.

I understand playing a tight rotation in the playoffs, but the regular season is to see what you got. Not to wear down 7 guys every night, and loose our leads in the 4th quarter... :D :D

    Nice counting.

Last night he played 8 men (Mutumbo, Howard, Battier, McGrady, Alston, Head, Wells, Hayes).

Previously in the weeks before, he went with a 9 man rotation incorporating Lucas III.

When Yao comes back it will probably be a 9 or 10 man rotation, if Snyder, Lucas III, Spanoulis, Novak, or player to be named later gets incorporated in.

    Get it?

    Got it :p

In his press conference the other day, he was asked about his rotation and he stated he had a 7 man rotation working that night. Stated he had nobody else to play (remember :D ). Sometimes he might plays 8-9 people, but I am not sure limited minutes count as a rotation player. My point is that lately he seems have tighten up his rotation and last night was the exception, since Hayes got more minutes. The previous game he had 8 players, with Hayes only getting 9 minutes. Taking a quick look at a few recent games, it seems the other top western teams are playing 9 players 15-20 minutes a game.
