    from Ananova news.....
Chief suspect bin Laden flees on horseback after taking oath

Osama bin Laden has fled on horseback after taking an oath of allegiance from a 500-strong suicide squad, it has been reported.

The Saudi terrorist is said to have left his base in Kandahar, southern Afghanistan with his bodyguards, according to press reports in Pakistan.

It is not known where bin Laden has gone, according to sources quoted by the Pakistan Dawn, the country's widest-read English language newspaper.

The paper quoted an arab supporter as saying, "Osama took an oath of allegiance at Chahar-i-Ansari in Kabul.

"He fled on horse so he must have gone to some place which cannot be approached by motor vehicles," the source added.

Two hundred million dollars and the dude makes a getaway on Mr. Ed. Now that's just whack.

But then I guess you wouldn't expect someone to evade your techno-forces on a 4 legged steed.

    Is this true?

The part I don't understand is this: 500 members of a suicide squad take an oath to die for him, then HE runs away on horseback? WTF?

OBL: You must pledge to die for Allah!
500: WE WILL DIE TO HONOR ALLAH!
OBL: We will not fail. Death to the invaders! We give our life for this holy war!
500: WE GIVE OUR LIFE TO PROTECT YOU AND DRIVE THE INVADERS OUT!
OBL: You must swear to fight to the death!
500: WE WILL FIGHT TO THE DEATH!
OBL: Great! Now, if anybody needs me, I'll be hiding in the hills.
    500: ????????
