    they're playing him very well. double teams, hedgings, the works. he hasn't seemed very aggressive though. just passing the ball to open guys.

    i don't tihnk a double team will bother tmac. he's been doubled his whole life. besides, he's pulling up for his J so quickly that i'm not sure a double can get there.

    Yep. You could see that they had a little trouble adjusting to the sheer size/speed combo that the Mavs throw at you... then once they did that, they had trouble re-adjusting for guys like Stackhouse.

    I think they know what to expect now... the defense should get better.

    I never understood why any coach would dare a great player to beat his team...and I never understood why some fans question the wisdom of coaches who are intent on containing the great players in this league.

    well said, and i'd like to add one more KEY. make open shots. tmac will find shane, howard, rafer, and luther if/when the double comes.

    I only questioned Karl once it was 2 minutes left in the 4th quarter.... but yea, you should never let another team's best beat you.
